Hoyland Common Primary School - The Best in the World

We went onto the decking on a frosty morning to explore the natural environment.  We enjoyed making up frosty day music and songs to say how we were feeling.

We played in the smallworld with the animals and snow!  We rescued the baby polar bears and made dens to shelter from the cold.

We made some lovely hot soup to keep us warm on this cold frosty day.

We used the binoculars to look closely at the branches and leaves around us.  We found lots of spider webs shining with the frost.

We made up dances and watched the wind move our ribbons.   We set off on journeys to explore the woods.
We explored the pond area.  We looked carefully at the ice and listened to the sound of the ice as it melted.
